Los Angeles County remembers Paul Meister
As many of you are aware, Paul Meister passed away
as a result of complications from a recent battle with
cancer. Though Paul is no longer with us, his influence will
be felt years to come by all the divers lucky enough to have
spent time under his wing. I don't think any of us will be
able to dive White Point without a memory of Paul bringing
a smile to our faces.
A fund has been setup in Paul's memory that is through Gary Liebsack.
As this fund is set up via LA County, only checks can be
accepted, made payable to the "County of Los Angeles" with a
notation that it is for "Paul Meisters Youth, Skin & Scuba
Program". Gary Liebsack is the current director. If you
have any questions, feel free to call him at 323-260-2360.
Funds will be used to finance trips, equipment, and whatever
else that this program needs for its goal of exposing inner
city kids to the ocean.
